Athletic Training Lab
The
Athletic Training Education Program was proud to announce the opening of the
Athletic Training Laboratory in Spring 2005. The 1200 square foot lab is used
for daily instruction and research. It was designed and built to be a functioning
athletic training facility, but is intended for the sole use of Athletic Training
Students to acquire and master athletic training skills. The lab contains state-of-the-art
equipment used for injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, and is
a completely mediated classroom as well. Some of the features of the lab include:

- Two extremity whirlpools
- Ice machine
- Biodex Gait Trainer treadmill
- Biodex Unweighing System
- Cybex Isokinetic Dynamometer with HUMAC
software
- Computerized KAT Balance system
- Traction table
- Two computers with web access
