The SESO Bonfire scheduled tonight at Pendleton’s Farm has been CANCELLED because of the very wet weather. If you have already bought a ticket, you may return it to the Welcome Center (208 JRP) for a refund.
A Request for Box Tops
SESO will now be collecting box tops for Lawrence area schools.There is a box located in the LRC for these box tops!

SESO Bonfire |
We will be having a social bonfire for all school of education students. Everyone is welcome to attend! We will have s’mores, pumpkin decorating, and more! |

Coin Drive |
During the month of November we will be having a coin drive. It will be a competition between SOE and HSES students. The money will be going to a book drive for local schools and for the America Reads library at JRP. We encourage you to donate your coins or extra change to the jars! |

As future teachers, nothing is more important than pulling resources from those already in the field. Volunteering as a classroom aid or tutor can help build confidence in the classroom, give you more ideas for your own future classroom, and help you to build character as a teacher. SESO will no longer hold monthly meetings, but will have a special meeting one time per semester. These meetings will be announced on the website and list-serv.
Members of KU Professionals for Disability (KUPD), Health Sport and Exercise Sciences (HSES), and Mulitcultural Scholars are all invited to join and get invovled in SESO.

SESO is a service organization for students in the School of Education at KU. SESO works to produce programs to supplement the education received in the School of Education. SESO acts as a voice for students with School of Education administration, and promotes social interaction among members. Membership is open to SOE students and pre-education majors.
