Happy Thanksgiving from the Department

A warm and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from the Department of Special Education! We'd like to thank all the people within the Special Education community and their loved ones for their continued support and help in advancing the quality of life for exceptional children and adults around the country.

Students at Sunflower Elementary participated in this year's art contest for the KU Department of Special Education greeting card. Students and teachers at this school are visited regularly via video conferencing technology by students enrolled in KU courses for preparing future elementary and secondary teachers.
